Original Game Inspirations
Many of the arcade titles created for Road Trip A82 are inspired by classic systems such as:
- ZX Spectrum – fast‑paced pixel action and iconic colour‑clash style
- Commodore 64 – SID‑style audio inspiration and smooth sprite movement
- Amstrad CPC – bold colour palettes and chunky arcade‑style UI
- Atari‑era arcade machines – simple mechanics with addictive replay loops
These inspirations helped shape modern versions of retro‑style games such as:
- Vector Citadel – inspired by vector‑style shooters
- RoadTripA82 – inspired by classic driving and checkpoint racers
- AstroX – inspired by early space‑shooter mechanics
- Shark Bait – inspired by underwater chase games
- Photon Breaker – inspired by bat‑and‑ball brick breakers
- Sky Tornado – inspired by vertical scrolling air‑combat games
- Hangman V1/V2 – inspired by classic word‑guessing puzzle games
These are modern reinterpretations, not copies — rebuilt from scratch with new graphics, new logic, and neon‑arcade flair.
